What’s included for free?
The BSD-3-Clause backend source can be self-hosted with Docker without a managed-cloud subscription. Compute, storage, messaging providers and model/API access are not supplied free with the software. You supply hosting, storage, backups, security updates and any external delivery or API services; those may have costs.
