What’s included for free?
Free command-line web-font utility. Subsetting requires Python and FontTools/pyftsubset, with Brotli needed for relevant formats; installation and terminal use are required. Only subset fonts whose licence permits it.

Before you use it
MIT for Glyphhanger; dependencies and processed fonts retain their own licences. Reducing a font file does not remove its usage restrictions.
